Applied Lymphology Seminar Content:
Water balance, lymph obligatory load, anatomy and
physiology of the lymph system, cause and effects
of lymph blockages, three types of edema,
indication and contra-indications for lymph
treatments, treatment guidelines.
Dr. Parvati Bartnett, NHD, DC, LMT
Dr.
Parvati is an internationally renown healer, author,
lecturer and teacher of the alternative and
complementary healing arts.
Born
and raised in Switzerland, Dr. Parvati finished her
1600 hour Massage Therapy training in 1979, in
Switzerland. She received further training in
naturopathic in Germany. In 1979 Dr. Parvati
started to teach shiatsu and diverse massage
techniques in Switzerland and Germany.
Further
studies lead her overseas to the United States. In
1985 She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree
from Life University in Marietta Georgia, and in
1989, a Doctor of Naturopathy (NMD).
Dr.
Parvati practiced at the Ruidoso Health Institute,
in New Mexico, as a Chiropractic and Naturopathic
Physician. She was the founder and director of the
White Mountain School of Applied Healing.
Dr.
Parvati taught seminars on a national and
international level on topics such as Applied
Lymphology, Foot and Ear Reflexology, Healthy
Living, Power of the Mind and on many other health
related topics.
In 2001
Dr. Parvati joined the Universal Life Studies
Institute and the BioMed Holistic Health Center, in
Orangevale, California.
At
BioMed Holistic Health Center, under the direction
of renown holistic physician, Dr. Asad Shahsavari,
PhD, NMD, MD (MA), Dr. Parvati practices her skills
in a unique blend of body-mind integration, helping
the patient to heal on many different levels.
In 2002
she was a founding member of the International
Association of Holistic Health Practitioners, an
association dedicated to quality education in the
holistic health field. Currently she holds the
position of President.
In 2004
she received the Doctor of Natural Health (NHD) from
the Universal Lifestyle Institute.
Dr. Bartnett has inspired students from all walks of
life. They took with them not just the special
knowledge of the subject but much deeper insight into
life.
